A Dove shut up in a cage was boasting of the large number of the young ones which she had hatched.
พิราปสาวตัวหนึ่งซึ่งถูกขังกรงไว้ ได้ฟักไข่ออกมาได้
ลูกนกจำนวนมาก เธอจึงรู้สึกยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
A Crow, hearing her, said: "My good friend, cease from this unreasonable boasting.
กาตัวหนึ่งเห็นดังนั้น จึงกล่าว
เตือนว่า "อย่าได้ดีใจนักเลยเพื่อนเอ๋ย"
The larger the number of your family, the greater your cause of sorrow, in seeing them shut up in this prison-house."
"ยิ่งครอบครัวเจ้ามีสมาชิกเพิ่มขึ้นเท่าไร ก็จะยิ่งทำให้เจ้าอดสูมากขึ้นเท่านั้น เพราะพวก
เจ้าไม่อาจไปไหนได้ นอกจากอุดอู้อยู่แต่ในกรงเล็ก ๆ นี้เท่านั้น"
